The Silocut XL+ is a high capacity shear grab that can be used for cutting clamp silage and splitting bales. This allows handling of different silage types, silage bales and loose fodder without changing implement when feeding your animals which saves valuable time. Powerful cylinders and large opening width allow most common silage bales to be split with ease. As an accessory a Bale Wrap Handler can be mounted which saves additional time as it retains the plastic wrap and you do not need to leave the cabin to cut and remove the plastic wrap and net. The Bale Wrap Handler is mounted on a seperate frame in a high position preventing the cut ends of the plastic wrap to come into the diet feeder. Silocut XL+ is offered in three versions depending on your need and requirements. Forged tine version features high quality, replaceable bolt on tines. Profiled tine version has profile cut tines welded in tine carriage providing excellent wear capabilities. The bucket version is a highly versatile implement as it can handle also loose types of silage and feed. Hardened cutting knifes and parking tooth are easily replaceable to minimise production stops. The tine versions can be equipped with an optional push-out mechanism giving several advantages such as facilitating unloading into diet feeders or other areas with limited space. The larger 80X80 XL bolt on hook system provides a strong connection between loader and implement, available for the most common large material handlers. The hardened cutting knifes on the front and sides of the implement enables a very clean cut surface in the silage. The clean cut prevents the admission of air and generation of heat, critical for feed quality, while consuming less silage by reducing waste. Size is perfect for large telehandlers and wheel loaders.
